November 30- Congrats on raising over $300 for CCB with the second annual Awesome Thanksgiving Pie Sale. CCB shut ins will be receiving their pies this week. well done! Christmas pie sales are about to start. Mark your calendars for baking at CCB Wednesday December 16 and Thursday December 17. Baking starts at noon.

Message dated October 18, 2009-Brunch Bash
CCB Young Adults host the Brunch bash after church this coming up Sunday October 25.Be at CCB Saturday 24 at 1:00pm to cook. Menu is pulled pork sandwiches, vegetarian pasta salad, fall baked squash, baked beans & cole slaw. Be to CCB by 9:30am on Sunday and be prepared to stay and clean up. Brunch bash proceeds support the general budget and this is our chance to give a little back. See you there.

Box-a-Thon and Canoe Trip dates to be announced
May 30, Saturday- Community Garden Building Project. This is a big deal. We will be installing fencing, making and installing wood frames for garden beds, making a straw compost system, schlepping lots of mulch and compost…. We can add a trip to my beach for anyone who wants to come after the build.
May 24- Sunday- Soultending Bible Study begins after worship about noon
May 31- Sunday- CCB Brunch Bash and Young Adult monthly meeting
June- Sunday’s after worship- community garden tending . Bring a your picnic.
June 5-7- Camp Talahi Young Adult Weekend- Scholarships available.
June 20- Tentative second Community Garden Building Project
June 21- Monthly Young Adult meeting right after church
June 25-30 General Synod
August 7-9 CCb Camping Trip. Current registered families will “adopt” YA campers. (the registration is way past). Don’t worry about having camping supplies. Your adopted family will let you know what food items you will need to supply. Carrie will arrange adoptions with Lee Maloney.

We have participated in many work camps helping families making repairs to their houses that they don't have the resources available for. We have also attended the UCC Synod. This past summer, 2007, some of our young adults, along with the youth group, attended General Synod in Hartford, Connecticut.
