Building & Grounds

The Building & Grounds Committee is responsible for the management and maintenance of the buildings and the grounds of the church.

With nine acres of grounds and gardens surrounding the church it is a big job!

The church - built in 1966 - was extensively renovated in 2006. A high efficiency furnace was installed in 2009 and CFL bulbs and other ‘green’ improvements have been incorporated.

The grounds include nine acres of mature and specimen trees, lawns, flower gardens and a nationally known Memorial Garden.   The ‘Adopt–a-Garden’ has been well embraced.

Work Days - held in the Spring, Fall and ‘as needed’ – provide opportunities for members of all ages to stretch their muscles and break a sweat to keep facilities and grounds in good repair.
