Encouraging a focus on Energy Conservation featuring CFL lighting, a new high efficiency furnace and exploring geo-thermal heating options…
Promoting a comprehensive Recycling Program… and minimizing the purchasing of  ‘throwaways’…
Encouraging an appreciation of the environmental benefits to ‘eat local’, organic, vegetarian…
Understanding the ramifications of our financial decisions and the benefits of Socially Responsible Investing…

Throughout the year we sponsor Field Trips and promote the ‘Green Screen’ Film Series to educate and sensitive ourselves to issues affecting God’s creation.

Sustainable Living
Our individual and congregation’s lifestyles will respect and cherish creation.  We will form habits of consuming, conserving and sharing that serve to protect and restore the environment.

Environmental Justice
In our community, the nation and the world we will support efforts to and policies which support vulnerable peoples and protect and restore the earth, by opposing public policies that abuse the earth and supporting those that enhance the earth.

Learning & Teaching
In Worship we will celebrate God’s glory in creation and declare that we are called to protect and restore our world.  We will seek opportunities to learn more about the threat posed by human beings to the survival of creation.
